CECDI WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ASSOCIATION FOR REPRODUCTIVE AND FAMILY HEALTH (AFRH) ON COMMUNITY SYSTEM STRENTHEINING PROJECT (CSS) IN THE  YEAR 2016

Our Global Fund AIDS/TB & Malaria partnership program with AFRH in partnership with the Local Government Health Department in organizing stakeholders and engaging them in meetings, community dialogue and outreaches to ensure that we strengthening the relationship between community members to make use of their community health care facility for the purpose it is meant for.

Child Education and Community Development Initiative (CECDI) has been committed to reducing the HIV burden in Nasarawa state and contribute to Nigeria in order to build healthier future. CECDI  through ARFH grant for Global fund supported Community Systems Strengthening Project in Nasarawa State and CECDI was able to ensure that 523 pregnant women were  referred and 1089 general population were referred to access HIV testing and 212 sample were collected for TB with the outcome of 2 who were placed on TB treatment.
However, the Community Systems Strengthening (CSS) project was focused on demand generation for HIV counseling and testing services at the facility with the help of community case workers to ensure people have access to quality healthcare.
