During the 16 Days of Activism campaign, panel discussions engaging a diverse range of participants took place in the program. The agenda was on the impact and for us to see how best to address the high rate  of GBV cases in our communities such as  increased risks and threats to GBV; early marriage, intimate partner violence, physical violence, rape, its possible causes and consequences. In all our community engagement we ensure our team held a panel discussion on the causes and consequences of intimate partner violence, what actions are expected from each segment of the community and other stakeholders. CECDI has so far reported quit a number of GBV cases working closely with security agencies, Legal Aid council, Human Right Commission and the state Ministry of Women Affairs.

However the 16 days of activism program was also facilitated at Government Secondary School Akurba
